Administrative Assistant – (Part-time)

The Directorate of Extracurricular Development has a Part-time position (from 01 March 2025 to 31
December 2025) for Administrative Assistant in the Office of the Director.
Critical Performance Areas

  • Assist in overseeing all aspects of a Podcast’s production, ranging from technical to
    administrative tasks
  • Assist in the production of podcast episodes and content
  • Host the podcast shows
  • Responsible for the booking of quests
  • Handling most decisions around podcasts, such as topics to discuss, and setting up recording
    equipment
  • Liaising with guests and other team members to ensure timely delivery of content
  • Assist in developing and managing podcast marketing strategies to increase audience
    engagement and growth
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to create engaging and relevant content for the
    podcast
  • Monitor and analyse podcast performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth
    Minimum Requirements
  1. Academic qualifications:
  • A National Senior Certificate or equivalent
  1. Other requirements:
  • Able to monitor student’s academic performance (students who registered with the
    directorate for out-of-classroom activities) for support and referral
  • Available to work during office hours, after hours and weekends
  • Available to travel to all campuses
  • Driver’s license will be an added advantage
  • Excellent communication skills, a strong on-camera presence, and the ability to adapt to
    various formats, including live broadcasts and interviews.
  • Experience in conducting interviews (on radio or television) with guests.
