Eligibility and selection criteria
The following are the eligibility and selection criteria for the bursary:
- The applicant must be Black, as defined in the B-BBEE codes of good practice.
- The applicant must come from an economically disadvantaged background and demonstrate financial need.
- The applicant must be pursuing further education or acquiring skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) at a tertiary institution in South Africa.
- The applicant should be under 35 years old.
