Role Description
Bakubung Platinum Mine (BPM) is offering a unique development opportunity for promising young matriculants, who needs financial support to achieve their
goals of studying at a tertiary institution in South Africa. The opportunity is aimed at individuals who are committed, passionate and goal driven that can form
an integral part of the BPM talent pool. Interested candidates are invited to apply for the bursary opportunities. Study fields offered, Human Resources,
Health and Safety, Procurement, Mining, Engineering, Rock Engineering, Legal and Nursing.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 Matric Certificate (Mid-year results will be provisionally considered if you are currently studying)
English 5 (60%+)
Mathematics 5 (60%+)
Physical Science 5 (60%+)
Other Requirements
Intend to study fulltime at a South African university.
Must be a South African citizen.
Must be between 18 – 24 years old.
Have obtained university acceptance letter.
Must be clear of any criminal record.
Be able to obtain a medical fitness certificate for the internship applied for.

Additional Information
Preference will be given to applicants residing within a 50km radius of Bakubung Platinum Mine.
This is a bursary programme and the company will not be obliged to offer permanent employment upon completion of studies.
