DEPARTMENT: Training Implementation Team
REPORTS TO: Training Implementation Director / Recruitment and Hosting Manager
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Recruitment and Host Company Administrator is responsible for managing a number of recruitment and hosting projects for different clients. Establishing rapport between Host Employer, Lead Employer and Learner. This role is essential in ensuring that our products are delivered timeously and with the highest level of quality and professionalism.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinating the Recruitment Process of Learners:
- Liaise with implementation Manager and LSC’s for new learnerships
- Source possible candidates using a multi-channel approach
- Networking with different organisations to find appropriate candidates
- Partnering with other stakeholders to effect desired outcome
- Establish a database with learners that meet the learnership criteria
- Screen and Vet candidates to evaluate if they meet the requirements.
- Conduct interviews with short listed candidates
- Coordinator candidate selection with client
Sourcing and Establishing Relationship with Host Site:
- Source host sites through networking and using a multi-channel approach.
- Survey host sites for selected candidates ensuring that the host site also caters for persons with disability if applicable.
- Manage Host expectations to ensure fulfilment of required outcome.
- Build rapport and establish relationship between host employer, candidate and lead employee.
- Provide Host employer with hosting agreement, training schedule and any other required information.
- Maintain relationship with host site by conducting monthly or bi-monthly site visitations.
- Assist and handle complaints and queries raised either by Host employer.
Manage Learners:
- Conduct one on one sessions with learners to coach and mentor them thus monitoring their progress and succession plan.
- Manage learner expectations to ensure fulfillment of required outcome.
- Follow up on learner attendance and provide report to LC’s and PC’s
- Assist and handle queries and complaints raised by learner.
- Replace learner where applicable should the learner be in breach of agreement or has submitted a resignation.
Administration:
- Provide reports when required
- Deliver and meet required targets and deadlines
- Assist in setting up interviews for Host and Lead Employee
- Compiling candidate documents and forwarding to relevant parties
- Commissioning of documents where applicable
- Liaise with respective organisations to verify criminal, ITC and qualification records.
- Establish and confirm disability for disable candidates by contacting medical personnel and establishments.
- Establish and confirm medical practice and practitioners practice number through various portals.
- Report fraudulent documents to necessary parties and candidates
- Record daily trips and submit trip sheet monthly.
- General other admin duties
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge and Experience:
- 2 years’ experience in a learnership recruitment role
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook applications.
- Fluent in written and spoken English (Business).
- Prior experience in coordination and administration of Learnerships and NQF products, including SETA Interaction.
