Job Description
At WOLO, we don’t just sell travel — we craft bold, beautiful stories that inspire people to live out their wildest adventures. We’re looking for a Video Content Editor who doesn’t just know how to edit video — but who lives and breathes it.
You’ll be the driving force behind the video we use to advertise across all platforms — TikTok, Reels, Stories, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and our website. From concept to final cut, your work will directly impact our growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the video content strategy across short-form (Reels, TikTok, Stories) and long-form (YouTube, destination content).
- Ideate and storyboard creative, scroll-stopping concepts for paid and organic use across all major platforms.
- Edit engaging video content using a mix of:
- WOLO-shot footage
- User-generated content (UGC)
- Stock video
- Produce video ads and content for Meta (Facebook/Instagram), YouTube, TikTok, and our website.
- Handle all elements of post-production: transitions, colour grading, music, text overlays, voiceovers, platform formatting.
- Collaborate with our marketing and creative teams to test, iterate, and optimise performance-driven video content.
- Keep WOLO’s content ahead of the curve by tracking platform trends, tools, and video-first campaign ideas.
Tools & Platforms You’ll Use:
- CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve (or whatever helps you deliver fast, high-quality edits).
- AI-enhanced tools for editing, scripting, trimming, or audio (Runway, Descript, Pika, etc).
- Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Creative Center, YouTube Studio.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years editing video for social or advertising.
- A creative portfolio that shows you understand what performs across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Stories.
- Excellent storytelling instincts — rhythm, tone, transitions, music, emotion.
- Strong attention to visual and platform-specific details (ratios, captions, cutdowns).
- Independent, resourceful, fast-working.
- Passion for travel, culture, and visual storytelling.
Bonus Points If You:
- Have experience with lifestyle or travel brands
- Know how to direct or shoot content yourself
- Have basic motion graphics or animation skills
- Have worked with creators or UGC-style content
